Juan Wilder is a close associate of Will Brendza. The two journalists have collaborated on many projects together: working in Arctic Alaska to capture the powerful annual summer migration of the porcupine caribou herd, working on illegal lobster fishing boats in Belize with local pirate fishermen, photographing cliff jumpers in Perth, Australia, and writing the “Idiot’s Guide to Surviving a Motorcycle Crash in Thailand” together.
Juan is a great reporter. He is also a decent writer. He is, however, a terrible self-promoter. Which is why Will has so graciously taken it upon himself to publish some of Juan’s work on his own website. Below, are the Juan Wilder Files - stories from the underbelly and strange musings from a strange mind.
